Brazil is one of the largest producers and consumers green coconut in world, with thousands units harvested destined for retail, wholesale mainly bottling industries fresh consumption beach regions, as its water basically represents greatest source interest. According to consumers, coconuts, after being consumed water, are mostly dumps sanitary landfills that accumulate material annually, a very voluminous shell decomposition time up 10 years. Note possibility obtaining oil biodiesel from pulp, thus able obtain low cost production biodiesel. The project question seeks carry out characterization tests density specific mass oxidation Biodiesel obtained residual oil. extraction pulp was performed using hexane Soxhlet extractor. Thus, it verified percentages extractive yield between 35 37% mass, results acidity 0.37 mg KOH/g, 0.887 kg/dm3 75.78%, meeting ANP parameters oils, later used synthesis transesterification basic catalyst (KOH), at 45ºC, oxidative stability measured rancimeter, 6h, considered average, necessary addition stabilizers, while dry exceeded maximum analysis 12 hours, even more stable.
